Beehives are starting

Had a chance to wander around the farm today and noticed the Heliconia Richmond Red are about to hit their major flowering season. Creates an amazing scene when all the stems of these magnificent plants bloom. The Ginger Beehives are also starting to flower with flowers nearly mature enough to cut for the cut flowers on our Apricot beehives, a few coffees getting bigger and the start of chocolate beehives.

From now through to around march next year we will see a procession of beehives across the whole spectrum of colours. By having all colours from Apricot beehives through the chocolates to yellow beehives (zingiber spectabile) we have flowers for over 6 months!!! Add to this mix the borneo red cone and flowers will only be off the plants for a month if that.

Don't forget to sign up for our newsletter - this month someone will win $100 worth of product just for signing up. We are finalising the template now so should have our first newsletter come out early August at which time we will announce the winner of the product.
